I think I pulled a groin muscle during squats on the weekend, at least I hope it’s as minor as a groin pull and not something more major like a hernia. Either way I’m going to be off at least the rest of this week as I’ve decided not to be thick skulled and try and work through this and possibly make it worse. If after a week it hasn’t gotten better I guess it’ll be time to visit one of those evil “doctor” people.

Well it’s time to go see a doctor, it’s not simply a groin pull. I’ll save you the gory details but now I just hope it won’t keep me out of squats and deads for too long.
Tough break, Stinn… I’ve had a hernia before though and I was back in action after a few weeks. Hope it’s nothing that serious though.
i have a paraumbilical hernia, it’s minor but it knocked me out for a few months just due to being afraid of making it worse.
Sorry to hear about your injury. I’ve got something goofy with my hip that’s going to keep me from doing any leg work. UGh. Better safe than sorry however.
My girlfriend and father both had herinated umbilicals but they both had surgery. I hope you nip this in the bud and don’t need something so drastic. Avoid the weighted situps!
well i’ve had mixed opinions on what it is, one doctor said hernia the other mumbled something about not a hernia. I do all my ab work with weight or added resistance of some kind and it doesn’t bother me.
I just hope whatever this is now is not serious.
